Cardboard Carnival was created for the Global Game Jam 2009, a world wide 48 hour game development contest. The game is constrained to the sentence “As long as we have each other, we will never run out of problems”.
It allows the player to play as two characters, one aggressive, one defensive, against a horde of attacking enemies. Both characters have their own abilities, advantages and disadvantages.
Of the 21 teams competing in the Dutch part of this competition, we were one of the 3 winning teams!
On this project I was teamlead/artlead and concept/2d artist. the game was built in 48 hours with 6 people and its one of the 3 global game jam 2009 winning teams.
